Job overview:

The Head of the Electrical Equipment Department is responsible for overseeing the company's electrical and mechanical operations, ensuring the efficient and safe functioning of the department. This individual supervises all repair and installation activities related to electrical systems, ensures the maintenance of electrical equipment and systems, and collaborates with electrical engineers to develop solutions that meet production requirements.

Key responsibilites:

• Manage the daily operations of the Electrical Equipment Workshop and organize employees' work.
• Plan and execute electrical repair, installation, and maintenance processes.
• Ensure the timely and safe repair and operation of electrical equipment required for production.
• Establish technical standards for the installation and testing of electrical equipment.
• Monitor the performance and quality of electrical equipment, identify problematic areas, and propose solutions.
• Ensure the operation of electrical equipment in accordance with safety regulations and legal requirements.
• Organize the training and development of employees involved in electrical repair and installation tasks.
• Manage electrical materials and tools, monitor the storage and shortages of spare parts.
• Prepare reports related to electrical repair and maintenance activities.
• Define performance indicators to monitor and optimize the operation of electrical equipment.
• Collaborate with other departments to support production processes.
• Stay informed about new technologies and practices in the electrical field to ensure continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Higher education in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5–7 years of experience as a Head of Electrical Equipment Workshop or in a similar role.
• Extensive experience in electrical equipment repair, installation, and maintenance.
• Experience in a production environment or industrial sector is an advantage.
• Possession of relevant certifications (e.g., IEC, NEC, etc.) is an asset.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and equipment repair and installation.
• Strong organizational and team management skills.
• Knowledge of electrical safety and general safety regulations.
• Problem-solving skills and a creative approach to technical issues.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English or other languages.
• Proficiency in computers and MS Office programs.
