Quality assurance (QA) engineer
Role Synopsis:
- The QA engineer is responsible for preparing acceptance tests specifications, which will be used for approving the products before selling them to the clients, The QA engineer will also be responsible for preparing quality control specifications which will be used by the line operators as well as by the QA inspectors for verifying the quality of the production process in the designated working stations. The QA engineer will be responsible for:
- Preparing QA acceptance tests specifications and QA control specifications.
- Design quality control processes for the production line.
- Training the QA inspectors and line operators regarding QA topics.
- Qualify the line operators for self-inspection.
- Root cause analysis and investigations.
SPC analysis.
- Improvement of processes in order to improve quality.
- Perform quality audits to the production line.
- Sampling and analysis of data in order to establish trends and draw conclusions.
Key Accountabilities:
- Monitor and examine the production processes.
- Managing the self-inspection qualification plan of the operators.
- Managing the qualifications' plan of the QA inspectors.
- Collaborate with the production line operators and engineering department.
- Management of the QA records.
- Ensure high quality of the produced parts.
- Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Desired background/skills:
- Experience with working in the metal industry – an advantage.CQE, ISO 9001 Lead Audito certification – an advantage
- Experience with SPC analysis – an advantage.
- B.Sc in mechanical engineering or Master degree.
Required skills:
- B.Sc in mechanical engineering or Master degree.
- 3 years of experience in the QA domain.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Understanding of safety regulations and protocols in a production environment.
- Minimum Intermediate level of English language.
- Good PC skills.
