About the Role:
IRES is proud to support the launch of a new international English-language TV channel by recruiting highly qualified professionals to join its core team. We are currently seeking an experienced Technical Director to lead and manage all aspects of technical production operations. This is a strategic role responsible for ensuring seamless delivery of both live and pre-recorded content in alignment with global broadcasting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the Production Control Room team
• Direct live broadcasts using automated systems
• Collaborate with editorial and production teams to execute creative visions
• Establish and maintain technical workflows, protocols, and best practices
• Oversee all technical infrastructure and equipment
• Identify and resolve live production issues promptly
• Mentor and train technical personnel
• Ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance across all technical operations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a broadcast production control environment
• Hands-on expertise with vision mixers, camera systems, studio lighting, audio, and editing software
• Familiarity with NRCS and broadcast automation systems is a strong asset
• In-depth knowledge of international media workflows and broadcast standards
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Previous experience in news or documentary production is preferred
• Fluency in English is required
• Both local and international candidates will be considered
