Procurement Specialist
MB ArchitectsLocation: Baku
Are you a highly motivated Procurement Specialist looking to gain valuable experience at a prestigious organization? Join our team and contribute to the effective management of procurement processes while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and evaluate suppliers in local and international markets, including price analysis and benchmarking.
- Place purchase orders, monitor supply chain processes, and ensure on-time delivery.
- Manage supply orders: placement, tracking, reporting, and closure.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure reliability and long-term cooperation.
- Liaise with logistics and finance departments to ensure smooth flow of goods and accurate invoicing.
- Resolve issues related to defective or non-compliant goods and coordinate returns or replacements.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and procurement standards.
- Maintain up-to-date procurement records and documentation.
Essential requirements & skills
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- Up to 2 years of relevant work experience in procurement or supply chain.
- Good knowledge of tracking, planning, and scheduling.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); knowledge of 1C, SAP, Oracle,
- COINS or other procurement software is a strong advantage.
- Understanding of contract terminology, competitive bidding, purchase orders, and vendor relationship management.
- Languages: Azerbaijani (fluent), English (fluent), Russian (good).
- Personal skills: detail-oriented, strong negotiation abilities, collaborative team player.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
