Projects Coordination Expert
Role Synopsis: The Expert of Projects Coordination will support the Head of Projects Coordination in overseeing the Group’s capital and Priority development projects across hospitality, retail, residential and commercial
portfolios. The role will be responsible for collecting project data, preparing documentation and reports, monitoring progress and coordinating with relevant departments to ensure timely delivery and escalation of issues.
Key Accountabilities:
- Collect and consolidate project information including budgets, schedules, risks, and dependencies.
- Prepare structured reports and trackers (Excel, presentations) for management review.
- Monitor timelines and budgets; highlight delays, changes, and their causes.
- Track pending issues across Legal, Procurement, Commercial, Construction, and Development departments, and follow up to ensure resolution.
- Provide direct support to the Head of Projects Coordination by preparing meeting packs, background data, and follow-up notes.
- Support the coordination between asset operators (hospitality, retail, residential, commercial) and central departments (Construction, Development, Legal, Procurement, Commercial).
- Maintain centralized project documentation and ensure information accuracy.
- Track pending actions in all relevant departments and follow up to ensure timely completion.
- Support risk identification, issue logging, and escalation when required.
- Promote effective communication and alignment among stakeholders to ensure project satisfaction and successful outcomes.
- Assist in preparing periodic updates for Group Management, highlighting progress, risks, and strategic recommendations.
- Participate in cross-functional project meetings and monitor commitments and next steps.
Desired background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in project coordination, project support, or reporting roles (real estate, construction, or hospitality preferred).
- Exposure to CAPEX/OPEX project processes and inter-departmental coordination is an advantage.
Required skills:
- Advanced proficiency in English (written and verbal); Azerbaijani required; Russian is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong ability to create and deliver professional presentations in PowerPoint and manage complex reporting in Excel.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise across departments.
- High-level organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver under deadlines.
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and reliable team player with strong problem-solving skills.
