Job responsibilities 

• Incorporating daily and monthly production data into monthly report
• Analyzing plans to identify risks potentially affecting overall results 
• Holding meetings for discussions with other functional groups as necessary
• Participating closely in the development of presentations for Steering Committee members and partners together with the Group Leader
• Analyzing well production and research data, recommending measures in line with the well optimization strategy
• Controlling to ensure that production measurement and distribution are acceptable
• Forecasting, monitoring and reporting on medium-term production targets
• Modelling of production wells for the purpose of controlling well production and maintaining / optimizing production at a certain level, including modelling of completion activities, construction of well potential (IPR) curves, application of nodal analysis and complex asset modelling methods
• Guiding the Activity Planner to develop and maintain the integrated plan for the Production Theme
• Collating individual project weekly and monthly scorecards into a monthly theme Performance Management summary
• Jointly with Financial Tag provide monthly business delivery input to Performance Management summary, i.e. cost and production impact forecast
• Identifying key risks to the integrated delivery through insightful knowledge of the plan
• Document and progress track actions from Theme integration meetings
• Facilitating key projects through standard processes e.g. raising eMOC’s, drafting PCPs, documenting Project Initiation Requests, ORP submissions and technical elements of FMs
• Delivering theme summary presentations to functional teams to raise Production Theme awareness

Required background/skills and knowledge 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering
• At least 5 years’ experience in oil and gas production
• Fluency in Azerbaijani and English (Russian is advantage)
