Key  Accountabilities:

• Manage electrical design consultant tenders, including preparing detailed Scope of Work documents for RFPs.
• Oversee and coordinate electrical design consultants during the Design Development Phase to ensure alignment with project scope, technical requirements, and timelines.
• Review electrical design documentation such as power distribution layouts, lighting and emergency lighting plans, earthing and lightning protection systems, and ensure compliance with project standards.
• Conduct technical evaluations and comment on electrical calculations.
• Respond to RFIs (Requests for Information) from consultants and contractors with timely and technically accurate clarifications.
• Provide technical support to the Commercial Team during value engineering and budget alignment exercises, with a focus on cost-effective system solutions.
• Review electrical shop drawings and coordination layouts submitted by contractors and ensure consistency with design intent and interdisciplinary requirements.
• Support the Quality Assurance Team in reviewing material submittals and method statements to ensure they meet project specifications and industry standards.
• Actively participate in design meetings, supporting the project team in making informed decisions on electrical systems and integration.
• Coordinate closely with MEP, architectural, and structural teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within overall building design.
• Ensure all electrical designs comply with relevant local and international codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.

Desired background:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in electrical design engineering, particularly in hospitality, residential, and F&B projects, covering all stages from pre-construction to handover.
• Experience on the client/developer side is preferable.
• Strong understanding of MEP coordination, design documentation workflows, and project lifecycle.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and electrical design/calculation tools such as Dialux, ETAP, or Ecodial is a strong asset.
• Deep understanding of electrical equipment, control systems, PLC/HMI applications, and industrial automation principles.
• Familiar with energy efficiency strategies and the integration of electrical systems with Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Demonstrated ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and manage consultants in fast-paced project environments.
• Strong planning and organizational skills; proactive in managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as needed.
• Self-motivated, solution-oriented, and eager to contribute to complex, high-quality developments.
