Position Description

• Conduct business analysis and economic evaluations of various local and international upstream projects at different stages of development and develop corresponding economic models. Provide support to the Asset Management Group in commercial activities, as well as in performance management reporting and related tasks

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Develop and revise economic models for various projects. 
• Perform revenue and cash flow calculations, utilizing the latest financial analysis techniques, including relevant ratios and indicators
• Calculate key economic indicators for projects, including NPV, IRR, capital efficiency, maximum funds exposure, break-even analysis, cost per barrel, and payback period.
• Analyze and when necessary, prepare project related reports
• Work with PSAs, RSAs, JOAs and other project-related agreements
• Perform ad-hoc tasks and analyses within the areas of Finance, Economics, and Business Development.
• Deliver long-term planning and performance data submissions and reports for the company/projects. 
• Analyse project documentation and decision support materials issued by operators. Participate in team meetings for knowledge-sharing discussions

Essential Education, Knowledge and Skills

• MBA, Oil and Gas Economics, Corporate Finance, Finance

Essential Experience, Qualification and Job Requirements

• Recent graduates or Masters’ degree students of the Corporate Finance, Economics, Finance, Business Administration faculties of the leading universities. (for Junior Business Analyst)
• At least 1 year experience in Big 4 companies (Corporate Finance) or minimum 1 year of experience in Commercial/Business Development or Finance Area of Oil and Gas industry. (For Business Analyst)
• Fundamental knowledge of Petroleum industry.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel and analytical skills
• CFA/ACCA certification is an advantage
• Advanced English  
• Excellent coordination and communication skills
