Location: Baku, Azerbaijan
Responsibilities:

• Provide full legal support for the company’s activities, including preparation and review of foundation documents, changes in charter capital, claim work, contract review, and correspondence with state authorities and third parties.
• Support and participate in financing transactions, share sale and purchase transactions.
• Provide legal advisory services to management and departments.
• Ensure that internal regulations and decisions comply with current Azerbaijani legislation.
• Represent and protect the Company's interests before state and non-state organizations.
• Participate in legal due diligence processes, including work with external law firms.
• Draft, negotiate, and review various commercial agreements, particularly in the areas of construction, engineering, licensing, and land use.
• Provide legal support for regulatory matters including licensing, permits, currency control, and sector-specific compliance.
• Contribute legal expertise in the field of renewable energy, particularly wind and solar projects.

Requirements:
Experience:

• Proven experience in corporate law, with a focus on Limited Liability Companies (LLCs/MMCs).
• Strong background in contract law — drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various types of agreements.
• Solid experience in construction and engineering law, including licensing, permitting, and land issues.
• Hands-on experience with financial transactions, including bank and loan agreements.
• Experience in regulatory industries such as currency control, construction, and licensing.

Mandatory:

• Previous involvement in drafting contracts and legal documentation related to renewable energy projects, especially wind and solar power.
• Experience in cross-border EPC contracts is a strong advantage.
• Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a relevant legal position.
• Education: Higher education in Law.
• Qualification: Valid lawyer’s license and membership in the Azerbaijan Bar Association.
• Additional Qualifications (Preferred):
• LLM or Master’s degree in Law.
• Experience in litigation is a plus.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong legal research and drafting skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, independently and within a team.
• Results-oriented, flexible, and highly responsible.
• Languages: English (fluent) is mandatory; Azerbaijani (native or fluent); Russian is a plus.
