QA Engineer / Product Owner
CaspianSATWe are looking for QA Engineer / Product Owner to join our international development team.
What you’ll do:
As QA Engineer:
- Create and execute test cases and checklists
- Perform manual testing (functional, regression, UI, API)
- Log and track bugs using Jira
- Collaborate with the team to ensure product quality
As Product Owner:
- Gather and clarify requirements from the client
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog
- Translate requirements into clear tasks for the development team
- Participate in sprint and release planning
- Act as the main communication bridge between client and team
Requirements:
- 1+ year of experience in manual software testing
- Solid understanding of QA processes and software development lifecycle
- Strong bug reporting and documentation skills
- Experience working directly with clients or managing requirements
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail, responsibility, and proactivity
- Fluent English and Russian
Nice to have:
- Previous experience as a Product Owner, Project Manager, or Business Analyst
- Familiarity with tools like Jira
- Basic understanding of APIs, databases, client-server architecture
- Involvement in UX discussions or prototype testing
