Calibration Engineer

TYPES OF EMPLOYMENT: Full-time
Address: 4 Parlament avenue, Yasamal district, Baku, AZ1006, Azerbaijan
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform routine calibration of measuring devices such as pressure, electrical, scales, torque wrench, physical-chemical measurements; mechanical measuring instruments;
- Completion of certificates according to the AZS/ISO/IEC 17025 standard requirements;
- Following to the requirements of internal documented procedures as per the requirements of the AZS/ISO/IEC 17025 standard and calibration procedures for various instrumentation and equipment;
- Proper filling out the required forms and reports;
- Preparation of calibration methods for the relevant field;
- Traveling to clients for equipment calibrations
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
- Higher or secondary specialized education in metrology, standardization and certification engineering, automation field.
TRAINING:
- Awareness of AZS/ISO/IEC 17025 standard requirements.
- Availability of relevant certificates are desirable.
SKILLS:
- Knowledge of AR Legislation in the field of metrology, basic concepts of metrology science;
- Knowledge in calculation of errors of measuring instruments and calculation of uncertainty during calibration.
- English language, MS Office skills.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 1 (one) year in relevant positions.
