Guavapay Limited was established in February 2017 in the UK and it is an advanced and progressive fin-tech company. The company obtained the EMI (e-money issuer) license under number 900888 from the UK regulatory authority FCA .
In a very short period it has built its own processing center which has the TSP, MSP and TPP statuses in MasterCard, VISA and UPI payment Systems.
Guavapay is principal member in UnionPay and currently finalizes the process of reception of the principal membership in VISA, MasterCard, JCB.
We are the Participant in SEPA Payment as SCT (SEPA Credit Transfer) and SDD (SEPA Direct Debit) and supervised SWIFT member.
Moreover, we have developed our own product of money transfers, MyMoneyMove, which already is represented in 50 countries and this figure grows daily.

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced E-commerce Support Specialist to join our team in Baku. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in international payment systems, financial transaction standards, and security protocols to support and optimize payment processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about fintech and eager to work with cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of the general principles, requirements, and technologies of international payment systems and financial transaction standards (ISO8583).
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries (JOIN, GROUP, query plan analysis).
- Understanding of 3-D Secure technology principles.
- Basic knowledge of the PCI DSS standard.
- Confident user-level knowledge of Linux.
- Familiarity with containerization platforms (OpenShift, Kubernetes).
- Experience with IT process monitoring systems (Zabbix, Grafana).
- Knowledge of XML/JSON, Postman, GET/POST.
- Understanding of acquiring and issuing principles.
- Technical documentation development skills.
- Knowledge of SmartVista and EPG is a plus.
Responsibilities Include:
- Analysis of problematic transactions.

Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in e-commerce support, fintech, or payment processing.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working with databases, including proficiency in SQL.
- Familiarity with international payment systems and financial transaction security.
- Understanding of software development processes and API interactions.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in English and Russian (both written and spoken).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
