Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform required hardware Installation configuration and troubleshooting.
- Perform software installation and configuration, non-standard software installation and configuration, software troubleshooting.
- Support Telecoms in LAN/WAN equipment installation.
- Answer local calls for help from all resources.
- Provide remote support to fix problems by phone, or TEAMs where possible.
- Handle walk-in questions.
- Assist in registering tickets in portal including detailed information if required.
- Assist with back office (hands/eyes servers related) support activities.
- Arrange repair for COMPANY hardware, under COMPANY Warranty and Break/fix contracts on occasion of hardware failure.
- Provide users with basic IT training and advice.
- Cover both local and remote sites.
- Assist with mandatory updates, QR patches installation.
- Notify users by phone or email on status of request.
- Follow procedures for urgent requests, including report it to line manager, if necessary, to Site Service Owner.
- Shall escalate issues with support teams.
- Maintain knowledge on peripheral spare parts, cartridges, and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with global IT standards and procedures.
- Manage and resolve all IT Issues/incidents and requests.
- Look to optimise and improve the service.
- Assist with keeping user base informed on progress for Priority1 (P1) and Priority2 (P2) issues (Major Incidents in ITIL terminology) where required.
- Ensure site compliance to Digital Security Standards.
Skills
- At least 2 years of skills supporting and troubleshooting Microsoft Win 11, O365 products and desktop equipment installation, troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with providing quick troubleshooting resolution for problematic issues.
- This should include understanding of upgrading of equipment firmware/software and rolling back/factory resetting in case of upgrade failure.
- Install, configure, troubleshoot desktop, laptop systems, workstations updates and hardware for Windows 11, O365.
- Computer skills Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications.
- Skills of investigating, diagnosing, and solving computer software and hardware faults.
- Good knowledge of LAN, WAN telecommunication network technologies.
- Ability to Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve connectivity problems analysing protocols involved.
- Strong customer service ethos and ability to work well with people.
- Good communication skills, verbal and written.
- Team working skills.
- Being customer oriented.
- Verbal and written language requirements: Azerbaijani and English (intermediate).
