CDT Manager Coffee
Location: Baku, Azerbaijan
Nestlé, the world’s largest food and beverage company, is seeking a highly motivated and strategically minded CDT Manager Coffee to join our team in Azerbaijan. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of Nestlé by developing and executing strategic and tactical plans for the Coffee Category across all sales channels.
You will play a key role in driving category growth by leveraging market insights, understanding consumer and shopper behavior, and working closely with internal teams and key customers. The job in a nutshell
As the CDT Manager for the Coffee Business in Azerbaijan, you will be responsible for driving growth and managing the end-to-end business cycle. Your role involves identifying business needs, fostering cross-functional relationships, and collaborating with the marketing team to create effective sales strategies and campaigns. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication, negotiation, analytical, and presentation skills.
Main Purpose of the Role
- Develop and execute strategic business plans to enhance the Coffee business.
- Identify and evaluate new business development opportunities, ensuring accountability for project outcomes.
- Drive business growth by expanding existing operations and exploring new opportunities.
- Monitor performance metrics, proactively addressing challenges to meet targets.
- Analyze consumer and shopper behavior, track trends, and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the Integrated Commercial Planning (ICP) process for the Coffee Category.
- Develop and oversee execution of category growth plans across all channels.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to identify and implement category development initiatives with key customers.
- Participate in client meetings and translate outcomes into actionable plans.
- Evaluate and propose balanced trade terms in line with strategic priorities.
- Recommend portfolio adjustments, activation strategies, and marketing mechanics based on insights.
- Present findings and strategic proposals to senior management and ensure timely implementation of decisions.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales or Trade Marketing within the FMCG sector.
- Strong negotiation skills and proven ability to manage processes and lead teams.
- Proficiency in Azerbaijani, English and Russian.
- Advanced PC skills, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
