We're Hiring: Venue Coordinator – 3rd CIS Games 2025

The 3rd Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Games will take place for the first time in Azerbaijan from September 28 to October 8, 2025, bringing together over 5,000 athletes across 23 sports and 13 venues in 7 cities. As one of the country’s largest-ever sporting events, we’re assembling a skilled and motivated team to help deliver a world-class experience.

Responsibilities:

• Support the operational delivery of your assigned venue
• Coordinate with LOC departments (logistics, workforce, accreditation, sport, medical, etc.)
• Assist with venue setup, readiness checks, and Games-time operations
• Help manage the Venue Operations Centre (VOC) and ensure documentation is updated
• Monitor service delivery, report issues, and support quick resolution
• Liaise with volunteers, contractors, and venue stakeholders during event-time

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in event, venue, or sport operations
• Good organizational and multitasking skills
• Team player with the ability to follow directions and take initiative when needed
• Strong communication and problem-solving mindset
• Proficiency in Azerbaijani and English (Russian is a plus)

Contract Duration: August to October 2025 (2- month)
Location: Ganja, or other host cities (depending on venue assignment)
