Azerbaijan International Mining Company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Anglo Asian Mining PLC. AIMC develops and operates mining facilities in the Republic of Azerbaijan. Anglo Asian is an AIM quoted, cash generative and profitable gold and copper mining and exploration company in Azerbaijan. The Company moved into gold production in May 2009 at its flagship Gedabek gold/copper mine located in western Azerbaijan. The mine, which is an open pit, heap leach operation, produced 57,068 ounces of gold for the last full year of operation to 31 December 2011. Additionally Gedabek produces copper through its Sulphidisation, Acidification, Recycling and Thickening ('SART') plant, which recovers copper in the form of a precipitated copper sulphide concentrate containing silver with commercial value.

Job Summary:
The Procurement Supervisor is responsible for leading daily procurement activities and end user coordination. This role is responsible for supervising delays and deadlines ensuring timely sourcing of materials and services and supporting uninterrupted production operations.
Preference will be given to applicants who are:
- Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs)
- Residents of the Garabagh region (liberated territories) and other neighboring or nearby regions to Aghdara.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, or related field (certifications are a plus);
- Minimum 6 years of work experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain;
- Knowledge of Azerbaijani (Fluent), English (Fluent);
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills;
- Proficiency in Procurement systems (e.g., Sage, Oracle, ERP) and Microsoft Office;
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills;
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities;
Job responsibilities include, not limited to:
- Supervise on-site purchasing team activities, including daily procurement tasks, supplier and end user communications, and PO coordination
- Coordinate with production, warehouse, logistics, and quality departments to ensure timely availability of materials
- Generate with Project Manager list of quarterly consumables for future purchases, and services
- Ensure purchasing documentation (POs, contracts, delivery notes) is properly maintained and submitted for timely payment
- Coordinate with accounting to ensure timely processing of supplier invoices and payments by providing complete and correct documentation
- Resolve and notify the Line Manager on issues related to order delays, quantity discrepancies, or material quality in collaboration with suppliers and internal teams
- Compile and present comprehensive weekly reports to the line manager, detailing procurement performance, supplier engagement, and key action points arising from end users during weekly meetings.
