Guest Service Agent
We are currently seeking a Guest Service Agent to oversee our front desk operations at our upscale hotel in Baku, Azerbaijan. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills, excellent communication abilities, and a dedication to providing exceptional service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcoming all guests with courtesy
- Perform all input and output tasks
- Manage online and telephone reservations
- Assign rooms and hand keys to guests
- Answering the telephone from potential clients and guests, taking and passing on messages;
- Carrying out administrative tasks such as filing and photocopying;
- Responding to requests for assistance and information;
- Providing concierge services;
- Preparing room accounts and arranging urgent payments;
- Checking in guests and accepting credit, debit or cash payments;
- Provide migration registration service;
- Monitoring the lobby area room;
- Checking cash during the shift;
- Ensuring that all functions are carried out in the hotel;
- Receiving deliveries; Sorting and distributing incoming mail;
- Perform other duties as required.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Implement and uphold hotel policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Minimum experience in a front desk or guest services role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
