Senior Risk Management Specialist
Role synopsis:
- Risk Management Senior Specialist is responsible for executing enterprise-wide risk management initiatives, monitoring risk exposure, and supporting the continuous improvement of RM practices. This position works closely with cross-functional teams to integrate risk management into daily business operations.
Key accountabilities:
- Lead risk assessments and audits for real estate ventures and projects.
- Assist in the preparation of the Risk Appetite Statement and risk control matrices.
- Work with management to improve risk governance and oversight.
- Develop mitigation strategies for identified risks in real estate sectors.
- Prepare risk reports for senior management.
- Design and maintain the risk management dashboard for real-time risk tracking.
- Develop guidelines and standards for risk documentation and reporting processes.
- Evaluate and improve existing risk management processes.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions on risk management.
- Lead comprehensive enterprise-wide risk assessments that incorporate financial, operational, informational, HSE and strategic risks.
- Collaborate with management to develop a risk appetite framework tailored to business objectives.
- Identify emerging risks and recommend proactive measures to address them.
- Ensure the risk assessment of the group's products and services is conducted and provide feedback
- Conduct evaluations and provide feedback on enterprise-wide risks related to internal policies, rules, guidelines, and processes, and take initiative to ensure changes are made when necessary.
- Adhere to the company's risk management and other risk related policies. Identify risk factors arising during work processes in a timely manner and take the necessary steps to address them.
Required skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and other MS Office applications; ability to analyze data and prepare reports.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in risk management.
- Practical knowledge of risk assessment methodologies, preparation of risk registers, and risk reporting.
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to make sound decisions based on complex information.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and complete tasks independently and on time.
- Capability to establish professional and efficient communication with internal departments and external stakeholders.
- Understanding of relevant regulatory requirements and international risk management standards.
