Job description

• Our company is currently looking for a “Land Surveyor” to work under the following conditions:

Work Location: Baku and regions of Azerbaijan 

Type of Assignment: Contract

Work Schedule: 5 days a week based on 8 hours per day.

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: based on experience

• The Land Surveyor is responsible for the accurate measurement and mapping of land, construction sites, and property boundaries.
• This role involves the use of geodetic instruments and software tools to collect, analyze, and present spatial data.
• The position requires a degree in Geodesy, Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field, along with relevant work experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct topographic, boundary, and construction surveys.
• Operate surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS receivers, levels, and theodolites.
• Collect field data and prepare detailed site plans, maps, and reports.
• Determine land boundaries in compliance with legal, technical, and regulatory standards.
• Process survey data using CAD and GIS software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS).
• Provide technical input and support to project design and construction teams.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of survey documentation.
• Prepare and submit reports, coordinate files, and relevant documentation to public or private stakeholders.
• Follow safety regulations and standard operating procedures during fieldwork.

Job Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in relevant field
• Working knowledge of industry and government standards
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Analytical Thinking
• Advanced knowledge of Azeri and English
