Job Summary

Clopos is seeking a proactive and analytical IT Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams — product managers, developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders — to define, analyze, and validate requirements for new features, integrations, and improvements across our POS systems, back-office tools, and customer-facing products.

Your insights will directly support decision-making and ensure that Clopos delivers scalable and intuitive solutions across Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, document, and analyze business requirements through interviews, workshops, and user observations.
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to design solutions aligned with Clopos’s system architecture and product roadmap.
• Support the rollout of new features and systems by preparing documentation, test scenarios, and user guides.
• Conduct gap analysis between current systems and desired business outcomes.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and QA validation processes.
• Coordinate with external partners or clients to support integrations (e.g., payment processors, fiscal printers, accounting systems).
• Analyze and optimize business processes with a data-driven approach.
• Ensure traceability of requirements from conception through implementation and testing.

Required Qualifications

• Strong ability to make decisions and take responsibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (preferrable).
• 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or IT Analyst in a software or SaaS environment.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to create use case documents, process flows, data mapping, and wireframes/mockups.
• Experience working with tools like Jira, Confluence, and SQL (basic data querying).
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in retail, hospitality, or POS industries.
• Familiarity with fiscal integration projects, delivery providers etc.
• Understanding of API-based integrations and JSON-based data exchange.
• Fluency in English is plus.

Work conditions:

• Salary: Depends on experience, starting from 1,000 AZN
• Work schedule: 5 days a week, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Lunch break: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM (lunch is provided by the company)
