Junior Estimator
Estimator will develop labor hour and material estimates from customer furnished drawings, specification and standards. Must be able to identify detailed scope of work and integrate projected schedule and material to yard workload.
Location: Baku city, Garadagh region.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Preparing various estimates from conceptual cost estimates developed from schematic or feasibility level documentation; to detailed budget grade estimates throughout the various trades;
- Must have an understanding of the basis of unit cost development, such as market labor rate indexes, commodity pricing differences, and the various factors that affect construction installation costs, labor productivity issues, and etc.;
- Prepare for, and often lead the presentation of his/her cost estimate and basis of estimate information to the Client;
- Participate as a member of a team involved in Request for Proposal Responses (RFP’s), and the formal presentation of the proposal;
- Supporting Commercial Officers with sourcing prices in the market for equipment, material and services for potential/ongoing projects.
- Continuous involvement in the development of client relationships within core businesses with both new and existing Clients;
Education & Experience
- A University degree in the field of business, mathematics or similar is required.
- Having experience in the marine industry would be a plus.

- The ability to communicate effectively and efficiently, both in writing and in person.
- The ability to go on job sites;
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills with all level of employees, internal and external.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills including to senior management levels.
- Demonstration of exemplary business ethics, integrity and honesty in all situations.
- Experienced user level of Microsoft office software (word, power point, excel, projects, outlook);
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize and problem solve.
- Ability to work with limited direction and to function as a team member.
- Calm under pressure and comfortable working in a busy environment.
- An understanding of and the commitment to both office and industrial site safety requirements
