Corporate Governance Expert
Role Synopsis:
- A great new opportunity has arisen to join PASHA Real Estate Group Legal and Corporate Governance team; We are looking to hire a new colleague as Corporate Governance Expert to support the enhancement of our corporate governance practices.
- The role will involve providing advice on governance matters, supporting the company in establishing efficient corporate governance system and promoting governance standards.
Key Accountabilities:
- Monitor and research emerging trends and changes in corporate governance.
- Advise management on corporate governance principles and best practices.
- Support the development and implementation of corporate governance policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and corporate governance standards.
- Prepare and review documentation for board meetings and other corporate governance activities.
- Coordinate training and awareness programs on corporate governance issues.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on governance-related issues.
- Participate in the design of corporate governance frameworks and structures.
- Coordinate with legal team to address governance-related legal issues.
- Perform regular governance audits and report findings.
- Maintain comprehensive registry of the corporate documents, ensure standardization.
- Provide periodical regulatory and management reports.
Desired background:
- Proven work experience (5+) in a corporate governance role or related field.
- BSc/BA in Law, Business Administration or related field. Master’s degree is an advantage.
- Deep knowledge of corporate law and governance principles.
- Proficiency in governance risk management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Fluency in Azerbaijani and English (mandatory).
- Knowledge of Russian and Turkish will be considered a strong advantage.
