Job Description:
- We are seeking a results-driven Freight Coordinator to join our team in Freight forwarding department .
- Responsible for organizing , monitoring , managing and coordinating the movement of goods thorough air , sea , road or rail .
- This role ensures that shipments are transported efficient , cost effectively and in compliance with company policies ,customer
- Requirements and international trade regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule shipments with carriers, freight forwarders , ad logistics partners .
- Prepare , review and process shipping documentation (cargo and transportation documents )
- Track and monitor shipments , ensuring on time pick up , transit and delivery
- Communicate with customers , vendors and internal departments ,regarding shipment status and requirements .
- Have knowledge of customs clearance procedure and ensure compliance with international trade regulations are met.
- Negotiate rates and services with freight carriers and forwarders.
- Oversee and resolve issues such as delays , damages or discrepancies in transportation .
- Maintain accurate records or shipments ,freight costs , and carrier performance .
- Assist in optimizing freifght processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs .
- Meet and exceed the targets and KPIs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in FreightForwarding transportation and Logistics industry.
- Strong knowledge of international trade and logistics services in all modes of transportation (air, sea, and road freight).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills,
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficient in CRM tools and MS Office applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
