About the Role:
For our client, a BP contractor service company, we are looking for an experienced HR Manager. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong expertise in payroll management and an excellent personal knowledge of the Azerbaijani Labor Code (Əmək Məcəlləsi), ensuring compliance with all HR and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with company standards and local legislation.
- Manage payroll processes end-to-end, including salary calculation, tax deductions, and reporting.
- Advise management and employees on Əmək Məcəlləsi matters and ensure compliance in contracts, employment relations, and terminations.
- Maintain and update HR documentation, contracts, and policies in line with Azerbaijani regulations.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning.
- Handle employee relations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Prepare HR reporting and ensure readiness for audits/inspections.
- Coordinate training and development initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Law, or related field.
- At least 7 years of HR experience, including 3 years in a managerial role.
- Solid knowledge of payroll and HR administration.
- Strong command of the Azerbaijani Labor Code (Əmək Məcəlləsi) and related regulations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Fluent in Azerbaijani and English.
- High level of confidentiality, responsibility, and attention to detail.
