Storekeeper
Location: Baku
Position Summary
- We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage the flow of materials, tools, and equipment in and out of the warehouse and project sites. The Storekeeper will ensure accurate record-keeping, timely distribution, and compliance with internal procurement and inventory procedures to support ongoing construction operations.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and forward all deliveries to the appropriate storage area or contact person.
- Accurately record and maintain stock of all incoming and outgoing items, including tools and materials.
- Monitor and ensure accuracy in the quantity of materials and main tools at the warehouse, construction site, and office.
- Issue materials to site teams as per approved requisitions.
- Register daily material movements, update records in spreadsheets or inventory software, and submit monthly reports to the Accounting Department.
- Organize and maintain the store layout to facilitate easy access and tracking.
- Coordinate with the procurement/logistics team for timely deliveries and reordering when stock reaches minimum levels.
- Conduct regular stock checks and ensure compliance with company storage and safety protocols.
Qualifications and Skills
- Relevant degree or vocational training in Logistics, Warehousing, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in store management or stock control, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with ERP or inventory systems is an advantage.
- Good communication skills in English (verbal and written).
- Positive attitude and high level of responsibility.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
