Tax Consultant
UHY LLC is seeking a motivated and qualified Tax Consultant for the Tax Team, with a degree in Accounting, Finance or Taxation. We offer a stimulating and rewarding work environment, fostering teamwork and a healthy work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of schedules needed to complete tax returns;
- Gathering and organizing information needed in the conduct of an tax audit;
- Review of documents and posting of entries in Accounting System/General Ledger;
- Collect data and prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports (VAT);
- Administration of e-tax account;
- Meet deadlines for completion of tax returns and other projects as assigned;
- Review, reconcile and analyze the general ledger account. Initiate all transactions required to correct any misstatements;
- Preparation and follow up of payments to suppliers in Accounting System;
- Preparation of invoices for clients in compliance with approved procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field;
- At least 2 years of work experience in taxation;
- Knowledge of local tax legislation;
- Candidates with ACCA papers (F3 or higher) are an advantage;
- “PMS” certificate is an advantage;
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel;
- Knowledge of 1C Accounting;
- Thorough understanding of general accounting principles;
- The ability to research, learn and analyze applicable tax law rules and regulations.
