Backend mid level Senior AV (Audio-Visual) Solutions Engineer
Location of posting: Baku, Azerbaijan
Work schedule: full time (Monday - Friday, flexible work schedule)
Experience Level: senior level

Responsibilities
Pre-Sale Activities
- Lead the design and development of advanced AV solutions tailored to client needs.
- Conduct in-depth client needs assessments and provide high-level technical consultations.
- Develop and validate technical proposals, solution architectures, and BoM (Bill of Materials).
- Support sales teams with customer demonstrations, and proof-of-concept sessions.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging AV technologies to enhance solution offerings.
Post-Sale Activities
- Participate in the installation, mounting, and configuration of AV systems in accordance with project requirements.
- Perform equipment setup and integration of hardware components.
- Carry out system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
- Optimize AV system performance through calibration and fine-tuning.
- Provide technical support and ensure maintenance services during project implementation and after delivery.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for installed systems, including schematics and user manuals.
- Collaborate closely with vendors, project managers, and internal teams to ensure successful execution and client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in AV solution design and implementation.
- Strong expertise in Barco AV solutions, video walls, projectors, and control systems.
- Experience with AV over IP technologies, signal distribution, and video conferencing solutions.
- Proficiency in system design tools, CAD software, and documentation practices.
- Advance knowledge of networking principles (TCP/IP, VLANs, multicast) and their application in AV systems.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as HDMI, HDCP, and audio/video protocols.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving and project management skills.
- Ability to lead technical discussions and drive innovation in AV solutions.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills to support junior engineers.
- Certifications in Barco products or related AV technologies are highly preferred.
- Valid Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) certification is a plus.
Competencies
- Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining accurate documentation.
- Ability to work effectively in a team, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to project success.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
