Architect – Memar
General:
- The Project Architect will be responsible for designing and developing various infrastructure, architectural, and mechanical components across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with international standards and best practices.
- Develop and implement high-quality, sustainable, and efficient design solutions for multiple projects. Ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory and environmental standards while optimizing costs and resources.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- MAIN (Main, essential, regular tasks & duties to be done. Responsibilities for team, processes & programs coordination and management)
- Design and develop structural, mechanical, and civil engineering solutions for the zoo and plant conservation unit.
- Utilize design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, and BIM tools to create detailed engineering drawings and models.
- Conduct technical calculations, feasibility studies, and site evaluations to ensure design accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project teams to integrate designs into overall project development.
- Prepare and review technical specifications, material selection, and construction guidelines for project implementation.
- Assist in procurement and evaluation of engineering components, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality control.
- Monitor construction progress, ensuring implementation aligns with design plans and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during design and construction phases.
SECONDARY (Secondary tasks & duties could be assigned additional to main tasks & duties)
- Provide technical support to project teams for maintenance and operational planning post-construction.
- Assist in the development of sustainability and green-building initiatives for energy-efficient designs.
- Participate in training sessions and knowledge-sharing activities within the project team.
- Contribute to documentation, reporting, and presentations for stakeholders and management.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Education:Type & Level
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Master’s degree in Engineering or Design (preferred).
- Specific Professional Competencies
- Strong knowledge of engineering design principles, structural calculations, and construction methods.
- Expertise in design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, and BIM tools.
- Understanding of zoo and conservation facility standards for safe and sustainable infrastructure.
- Familiarity with international building codes and safety regulations.
- Language Skills: Language & Levels Azeri, English
- Computer Knowledge & Skills - Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, BIM software, and other relevant engineering tools. Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and project management. Work Experience: Area & Length
- 5+ years of experience in engineering design, infrastructure projects, or zoo/conservation facility development.
- Experience in multi-disciplinary projects and collaboration with architects, engineers, and contractors.
